One of the most reliable performers for CoLA, O’Connell plays with a real maturity at both ends of the floor including an ability to score in a variety of ways. O’Connell made it onto the All-First Team in the WEABL Southern Conference with 15.9 points per game on the season and will go up against backcourt partner Ana-Isabel Andersson.
2022
O’Connell joins CoLA teammate Funmi Amode in making a HASC debut on Team White having been part of the WEABL and WNBL Division 1 double success. The former Richmond Knights guard was named MVP in the Under-18 National Cup final in January and was also part of the lineup of the D1 British Team of the Year alongside Isi Ozzy-Momodu.
