Powell backed up the WEABL’s U17 Player of the Year selection from the previous season to make All-First Team honours in the Northern Conference, despite dealing with injury. The versatile wing makes a second appearance in the Classic and is still one of the youngest competing players.
2022
Powell is the youngest participant in this year’s Under-19 Women’s game having only taken up the game two years ago. The 16-year-old had to wait to make a debut for Charnwood after injury, but made an immediate impression and ended up winning the WEABL’s Under-17 Player of the Year award.
