Rafiu added important depth in a role off the bench for Ipswich this season as the club won two pieces of silverware in WNBL D1. In the 2019-20 season, Rafiu was MVP in winning the U18 National Cup and also earned Defensive Player of the Year honours in the WEABL.
Recorded 2 points, 3 rebounds and 1 block in 11 minutes as a starter in Team Black’s 76-81 defeat in the Under-19 Women’s game in 2021.

Rafiu was selected as part of the rosters for the Under-19 Women’s game, which did not take place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
